Listings. Dealers must list only equipment they are authorised to sell, keep prices, availability and descriptions accurate, and remove sold units promptly. We may edit, hide or remove listings or photos that break these terms or look inaccurate.
Pay-per-lead billing. Dealers are charged for each lead TopTrailer delivers — a message, or a call to one of their tracking numbers — at the rate shown in the dealer dashboard. Repeat contacts from the same buyer to the same dealer, across all of that dealer's locations, are charged at most once per listing in any 30 days, at most once in any 24 hours, and at most four times in any 30 days. A contact over any of these limits is recorded as part of the buyer's most recent charged lead, at no charge. A buyer is matched by their TopTrailer account, or by the email address, phone number or caller ID they contact from, and only charged leads count toward the limits. A message lead is priced 30 minutes after contact, based on whether the buyer confirmed their email: a buyer who confirmed it by then is Verified and charged the dealer's rate; otherwise the lead is labelled Unverified and charged at a lower rate, and confirming later does not change it. A call is priced when it is made. A call counts as a lead only when the caller stays on the line for at least 15 seconds from when our number answers (including the short recording notice); shorter calls are reported to the dealer but not charged. A call is Verified when the caller ID matches a phone number verified on a TopTrailer account, and Unverified otherwise. Charges are drawn from a prepaid wallet that is topped up by card through Stripe. If the balance runs out and is not restored within the 7-day grace period, listings and tracking numbers may be deactivated. Pricing, and the details of how leads are counted, are shown in the dashboard and may change with notice.
Disputes. A dealer who believes a lead should not have been charged (for example spam, a wrong number, or a duplicate) can dispute it from the dashboard within 30 days. An Unverified lead can also be disputed as spam or not a real buyer. We review each dispute, including any recording, and credit the charge if we agree. Our decision on a dispute is final.
Buyer information. Dealers may use buyer information received through TopTrailer only to respond to that buyer about equipment, must comply with privacy, telemarketing and anti-spam laws when contacting buyers, and must not sell it or add buyers to marketing lists without their consent. Dealers agree that calls to their tracking numbers are recorded, and are responsible for telling their own staff who answer them.
